KEO films last night added two more titles to its growing collection at the Royal Television Society Awards (Tuesday 20 March).

The RTS Awards are the pinnacle of achievement in the television community.

Each year the ceremony recognises excellence across the entire range of programme making and broadcasting skills.

We collected two prizes on the night, dominated by success for Channel 4 at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel.

The Popular Factual and Features prize went to Hugh’s Fish Fight, the anti-discard campaign aired last January and fronted by Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall.
There was also another award for Terry Pratchett: Choosing to Die, which picked up the gong for Best Single Documentary.

“I am delighted for the team that we won this award,” said Executive Producer Craig Hunter.

Craig added: “It’s tremendous recognition for what was a difficult film to make. The entire team approached the subject with care and respect and it shows in what is a very thoughtful and thought provoking film.”

Comedian Rob Brydon hosted the ceremony, in which Channel 4 collected 10 of the 23 awards available.
